The Gumbys

Meet Robin and Shane... affectionately known in our circle of friends as The Gumbys (more on that later).

Shane is a long-time friend of my husband and was actually a groomsmen in our wedding. We've watched him date (A LOT!) over several years, but it was evident early in their relationship that Robin was different. These two have a love that is rare these days and I'm so thankful that I've been able to watch their relationship grow and I'm honored that they choose me to capture their engagements and their big day coming in May.

We knew we wanted something different for their engagements so we headed down to Galveston for the day and had a great time using all that The Strand has to offer. What a great location! Thanks to Robin and Shane for being such great sports and being willing to push the envelope a little and trust that my crazy ideas will actually work (sometimes!).

Shane had an unusual last name. Apparently some friends had trouble with it so he gained the nick name Gumby. Now that Robin is going to be Mrs. G, they are officially The Gumbys.
